Are laundry detergent sheets safe for babies and sensitive skin?
Yes, if the sheet is made for it. Naturali laundry detergent sheets are gentle on skin, low-suds, plant-based and free from phosphates, parabens, chlorine bleach and formaldehyde. They dissolve completely and rinse out fully, which is what matters for skin that reacts to residue left in fabric.
What to look for
- No optical brighteners, bleach or formaldehyde. These are the usual irritants in conventional detergent. Naturali’s ingredient list is on every product page.
- Low suds. Less foam means less residue after the rinse. Our sheets are low-suds by design.
- Light or no fragrance. Our Lavender sheets (formerly sold as our Baby formula) carry a light natural essential-oil scent that fades after drying. Fragrance Free, with no added fragrance at all, ships from 1 November 2026.
Washing baby clothes with sheets
Use one sheet for a normal load, machine or hand wash, hot or cold water. For a very full or heavily soiled load use two. There is nothing to measure, so there is no risk of over-dosing, which is a common cause of residue on baby clothes.
Naturali sheets are plant-based and safe for baby clothing and bedding. If a member of the household has a diagnosed allergy, check the ingredient list on the product page first, as you would with any detergent.
